The National Brain Injury Conference and Awareness Day brings together survivors, caregivers, professionals, and advocates from across the country to learn, connect, and strengthen awareness around brain injury. The event creates space for powerful stories, practical education, and meaningful relationships that continue to move the brain injury community forward. I’m honored to serve as the Emcee for this impactful gathering and help support the voices, conversations, and shared mission that make this community so strong.
I am honored to be speaking at the 2026 Mind Matters Conference, hosted by the North Dakota Brain Injury Network. This two-day conference brings together survivors, caregivers, and professionals to explore innovative approaches to brain injury recovery.
I will be speaking both days of the conference.
On Day One, I will present Recycling Pain, sharing my personal journey as a traumatic brain injury survivor and how lived experience can be transformed into purpose, healing, and impact.
On Day Two, I will present The Six Pillars of a Healthy Brain, a practical framework grounded in neuroscience that offers actionable strategies to support brain health, emotional regulation, and long-term recovery.
The Butterfly Initiative, hosted by LukeSpeaks, is a powerful community event happening during Mental Health Awareness Month, created to spotlight the emotional and mental health challenges that often follow a traumatic brain injury. This event will unite survivors, caregivers, professionals, and advocates to raise awareness, share stories, and provide hope and healing. A portion of all proceeds will benefit the Brain Injury Association of South Carolina, helping fund vital resources for survivors and caregivers facing mental health struggles. Tickets on Eventbrite—join us in breaking the silence and creating a space where every story is seen, heard, and supported.

LukeSpeaks is proud to sponsor the Brain Injury Association of South Carolina’s Walk, Run & Roll event at Bierkeller Columbia!
Join us at 2:30 p.m. for a group walk to Riverfront Park, followed by a reception from 3-6 p.m. with food, drinks, music, and more (reception ticket required).
Luke is honored to speak at this event and support the brain injury community. See you there!
